Dupe of a Dupe Alert

Hey all!

Just a quick 'n dirty post. ^_Q

So we polish fanatics all know how glorious Lippmann's Across The Universe is, and how Sally Hansen has just duped it with Mermaid's Tale.  Now everyone is rushing to find Tale but it's not popping up fast enough.

Well last week I happened upon Mermaid's Tale and... I passed on it.  Why?  Because I already have Jordana Glitters #13 Carnival.  See for yourself:

Um... yes, that's me comparing a phone pic of Mermaid's Tale
with my actual bottle of Jordana. No I am not weird. At all.

31 Day Challenge - Day 29: Supernatural

Wooh! I must admit I'm a little releived that the challenge month is almost over... even as I contemplate NaNoWriMo. Anyhoo...

Supernatural-- I didn't plan this out too much, and yet I think it worked out really well!

For this challenge theme I knew I wanted to use Cult Nails Mind Control for sure, but I didn't know what pair with with.   Looking thru my helmer this glitter stood out and when I read the name, I knew it was a match made in thematic heaven. ;-)

How pretty are those two together?!?!?   I ♥ them!!!

The combination of overt-blingy glitter and micro-shimmer is just sooooooo pretty! ♥ ♥ ♥

31 Day Challenge - Day 3: yellow

Hey-o!  Today I give you a 2-for-1 challenge post.  =)

Yellow:  for the longest time I didn't really care for yelow as a nail polish color.  Then I encountered OPI's The It Color.  It was bold, in-your-face, almost "roadstrip" yellow and just the right shade for our elementary school spirit colors. (Go Hornets! ;-)  To sweeten the deal The It Color had just been discontinued, so I found it on clearance (circa 2008, I think). Thus, come home with me it did.

Just for fun I decided to spice this creme up with a little copper glitter.  It's odd, I know. But that's what I was going for.
