Ok- this is a total fake on my part, y'all.  I don't really care for this particular book's content as my "inspiration".  I just loved the idea of the color and shades reference in its title. ( Fans-- please don't be offended! )

NOTD: A Last Summer Fling

My summer of fun is about to come to an end... and I'm ok with it.

As I try to conclude my personal summer challenge (to wear 50 untrieds from my collection) I decided to recreate this mani by celebrity nail artist Leah Light (her facebook page is to die for btw) with corresponding colors from my stash.  (With this mani I stand at 41/50. Woo!)

I have a personal summer challenge going.  It's just a little list of some things that I want to get done.  I keep it as an album on my facebook page, so it's ilustrated.  One item is "to wear 50 untried polishes from my collection".  So I found a cool picture online and I've used that as my inspiration/representation: Fab Fatale's blue ombre nails.  "A Bad Case of The Blues" here is my interpretation of this fab mani. ♥
