Get the Look

For every gorgeous color... 

...there's The Original and then there's The Dupe.

But why is this so?  I think dupes are born because certain colors create a interesting "nail look".  I got the idea for this page when I realized I had built a shopping list with no less than seven polishes under the title "for mermaid nails".  =)

The following is my attempt to list several polish alternatives you could use to achieve some popular "nail looks".  I am NOT saying these are identical dupes, only that in my opinion they are similar.  (Some peoples standards for the title of "dupe" are very strict; for the record, mine are not.)  I've listed all sorts of price ranges and availability, for your shopping needs/lemming killing purposes.
