31 Day Challenge - Day 14: flowers

Hi!

Superquick post!  Too long a day at work and I have dance tonigh-- must dash!
Just quickie post pics now and I will update with polish names and details later.  But there isn't much to be said. I went very minimalist for this challenge, giving myself just some 'Blackberry bling".**

**Urban Mani Dictionary - Blackberry bling: wherein you decorate only your thumb nails so they look cool while you're texting. ;-)

31 Day Challenge - Day 4: green

Hey!

I have a personal fondness for green.  For one thing, it's my Mom's favorite color.  For another Loki, with his green and gold outfit, is all kinds of interesting in my book right now.

The polish I chose for the green challenge happens to be an untried.  I got it while on vacation this summer.  As soon as I saw this bottle (in the clearance bin no less, oh K-mart thou wast epic ♥) I had visions of mermaid nails:

This is Maybelline Be Scene in Green, (2 coats, over clear basecoat and no topcoat).

It's simply gorgeous.  I love it.  It's a rich and complicated color. Obviously it's green but it also has micro-shimmer particles in gold and turquoise. My lame photos don't do it justice. (Must stop taking cellphone pics and bust out the real digital.)

NOTD: Red, white and oh-my!

Hi!  Happy 4th of July-- wherever you are!
Me?  I'm on holiday in Florida!  Having BBQ and a beer (hopefully ;-) with my family,

so this post was previously plotted, for your enjoyment.

Today I have for you a "vintage" mani.  This is one of the first --if not *the very* first-- mani pic I took of myself.  The "accent nail" and the "multi mani" are all the rage now. But last year, in my circles, not so much.  People around me thought I was silly.

Behold - 4th of July mani, circa 2011:

no-name white glitter by Hot Looks! (which I'm holding)
